GENERALIZED ANXIETY DISORDER
People with anxiety disorder experience chronic excessive worry about daily life that interferes with work, school, social activities and daily functioning. It dominates the person's thinking and their life becomes excessively focused on unusal amounts of dread, fear and worry. They anticipate disaster and can't stop worrying. Anxiety can lead to physical symptoms such as restlessness, irritability, feeling "edgy", muscle tension, headaches and difficulty concentrating. Anxiety disorder sufferers also can overreact to small problems, which can cause tension and conflict in their relationships. In extreme cases anxiety disorder may become debilitating, making a person unable to function in daily life experiences.
